3 White Plains Mailboxes Go Missing

Police say three mailboxes were removed from City homes this week.

A few White Plains residents were in for a surprise when they checked their mail this week.

Three homeowners reported their mailboxes were missing from their yards.

All of the thefts took place between July 5 and July 9 at Hillair Cr. and Paddock Road. Police say the thefts are most likely pranks, but one of the mailboxes was worth about $1,200, so if found the thief, or thieves could face a felony charge.
