Cops Bust Shoplifter, Find Coke: Police

Man had tucked stolen cologne into his pants; the bulge looked like a weapon, according to police.

A man who was pilfering $100 worth of cologne from Macy's at 100 Main Street was also busted with a pipe containing cocaine residue when arrested by White Plains police, authorities said.

Police received a tip from Macy's employees, who spotted the man—a 41-year-old Valhalla resident—swiping cologne over the security camera feed Saturday of last week at about 8 p.m.

When police caught up with the man and arrested him for petty larceny, they also uncovered a glass pipe with alleged cocaine residue.
