Prestwood is the founder of IHeartBoobs.org, an organization which promotes breast cancer awareness and raises funds for Muffin’s Crew a Westchester County team that participates in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, which will be held on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 8 a.m. at Manhattanville College.

According to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer website, about 7 million walkers have raised $400 million, with about 800,000 walkers raising $60 million in 2010 alone, click here for more information. Muffin’s Crew is named for Margaret Gleason “Muffin” Hamm, a friend of Prestwood’s who battled breast cancer for five years before passing away on Aug. 11, 2009.
