Black Swan (R) 1hr 50 min

A New York City play director replaces the prima ballerina in "Swan Lake." The director wants one dancer to act as the White Swan, encompassing virtue and propriety in addition to the role of the Black Swan, which represents lust and slyness. Two of the dancers, Nina who is suited for the role of the White Swan and Lily who is more like the Black Swan, fall deep into a rivalry as Nina, the new prima ballerina, unveils a darker side of herself. This film stars Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis and Winona Ryder. Nominated for 12 Critics' Choice Awards and 4 Golden Globes.

Country Strong (PG-13) 1hr 52min.

After a fresh young vocalist and songwriter starts a relationship with an emotionally erratic country singer, the two begin a career revival reunion show produced by the country star's husband/manager. The new show also showcases the talent of a fresh young musical talent and former beauty-queen. Between performing, love and the past, it's unclear if they can all make it work. One Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song, this film stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Leighton Meester, Garrett Hedlund, Tim McGraw and Kayla Perkins.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader 3D (PG) 1hr 52 min

Based off the classic novels by C.S. Lewis, this film brings viewers into an enchanted world of intrigue. Children and their furry friends find themselves gobbled up into a painting and onto the ship the Dawn Treader. The future of the Kingdom of Narnia rests on their shoulders as they navigate through a fantasy land of a golden river, magical creatures, mystical islands and nasty enemies. This film is available in 3D.  This film stars Ben Barnes, Skandar Keynes, Georgie Henley, William Moseley and Anna Popplewell.

The Fighter (R) 1hr 54 min.

Examining the life and times of the boxer Mickey "Irish" Ward and his brother who coaches him, Dick Eklund, this film shows the hard times of a Massachusetts neighborhood and the brothers' journey through it. Eklund fights a drug problem while Ward tries to break into a championship in London, England. They join forces to train for the title, repair their family and say goodbye to their pasts to make their rough hometown proud. This film stars Christian Bale, Mark Wahlberg and Amy Adams. Nominated for 6 Golden Globes, 6 Critics' Choice Awards and 4 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Gulliver's Travels 3D (PG) 1hr 25 min

A modern remake of the classic Jonathan Swift novel, a mailroom attendant is accidentally assigned a travel piece on the Bermuda Triangle where he drifts ashore to find himself a literally larger than life man in population of the secret island of Lilliput, a sanctuary for very, very tiny people. He becomes a hero of the people --- after being enslaved by them --- and learns that big feelings are better than being big on the outside. This film stars Jack Black, Jason Segel, Emily Blunt, Billy Connelly and Amanda Peet.

Hood to Coast Event (NR - Not Rated) 2hr 20min.

 This film will be shown one day only.  A documentary that follows only four of up to 1,000 teams that compete in the biggest relay race of the world, this movie shows the tribulations that come with the quest to be number one. Focusing in on individual drive and a chance to make it big this film also offers interviews from expert runners, Olympians and serious running athletes that shed insight into their personal experiences of competing in the Hood to Coast relay race and it's role in the American running psyche.

The King's Speech (R) 1hr 51 min

King George V dies and his successor King Edward VIII mysteriously abdicates the thrown. It is now Bertie, who has suffered from a speech disability his whole life, who must take on the role as King George VI, the ruler of England. With the country in shambles Bertie must be a strong leader. To reign in on the problems, his wife Queen Elizabeth hires a quirky speech therapist, Lionel Logue. After an initial struggle the two become great friends with a strong connection. With the help of his teacher, friend, wife and colleagues he makes a moving radio broadcast to the people of England to help the country's morale and ensure its future in the face of war. Nominated for 7 Golden Globes, this film stars Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush, Helena Bonham Carter, Guy Pearce, Jennifer Ehle, Derek Jacobi and Michael Gambon.

LA Phil Live: Dudamel Conducts Beethoven (NR - Not Rated) 2hr 30min

The Los Angeles Philharmonic performs Beethoven, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel, in a live broadcast from the Walt Disney Concert Hall in California. This unique and real-time screening offers viewers a chance to immerse themselves in music from three different composers. Beethoven's Symphony No. 7, John Adams' "Slonimsky's Earbox," inspired by Stravinsky and "Jeremiah," Leonard Bernstein's extraordinary First Symphony will be performed during the live show broadcast in select theatres around the country.

Little Fockers (PG-13) 1hr 38 min

The third film in the "Meet the Parents" series. After years of marriage and two kids later Greg Focker finally fits in with his wife Pam's family. A dysfunctional tale of a not so normal family, Greg Focker takes a part-time job selling pharmaceuticals in addition to his job as a male nurse. A former CIA agent, Pam's dad Jack is skeptical that Greg can rise to the occasion of father, husband and bread winner. Filled with crazy antics viewers will see if Focker can finally prove himself. This film stars Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner, Teri Polo and Jessica Alba. With Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand.

The Metropolitan Opera: Don Carlo Encore (NR – Not Rated) 5hrs

An encore performance of Verdi's Don Carlo. The cast is headed by Roberto Alagna, Ferruccio Furlanetto, Marina Poplavskaya, Anna Smirnova and Simon Keenlyside. Yannick Nezet-Seguin is also in the film after her leading role in Carmen.

 

The Metropolitan Opera: La Fanciulla del West (NR - Not Rated) 2hr 48min

The Met: Live in HD series opens nationwide in a variety of theatres. This is the fifth season of the Peabody and Emmy Award-winning series. A wild-west opera that originally hit the stage in 1910, only 100 years later to be shown on the silver screen. Deborah Voigt performs as the "girl of the golden west," alongside Marcello Giordani while conductor Nicola Luisotti leads the way.

Season of the Witch (PG-13) 1hr 38min.

Is a young girl really a witch and responsible for a devastating curse placed on the land? Older monks believe so and take the young lady to a monastery to perform an ancient ritual to cleanse the land. With the fate of the world lying on their shoulders a voyage filled with excitement and intrigue will push them to the limits as they unveil the truth of the girl underneath – all while battling an otherworldly power. This film stars Nicholas Cage, Ron Perlman, Stephen Campbell Moore,  Robert Sheehan and Claire Foy.

Tangled (G) 1hr 40min

A modern take on the classic Rapunzel. A charismatic bandit named Flynn Rider tries to find solace from the authorities in a mysterious tower when he stumbles upon a fiery, beautiful teenager with a 70-foot-long mane of magical, blonde hair named Rapunzel. To escape her longtime home she teams up with Rider for an action-packed adventure. A cautious chameleon, super police horse and a rough gang of pub hooligans make this film a wild tale.  Nominated for 2 Golden Globe Awards and 2 Critics' Choice Awards, Zachary Levi and Mandy Moore lend their voices to this animated film.

The Tourist (PG-13) 1hr 43min

When an American tourist named Frank visits Italy to overcome a failed relationship he meets Elise, an intriguing woman who deliberately enters his life. In the romantic city of Venice he pursues the potential love interest but soon finds himself in too deep when he and Elise are caught in a world of tricky danger. Nominated for 3 Golden Globe Awards. This film stars Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie.

Tron: Legacy (PG) 2hrs 7min

Enter a digital realm that's like nothing you've ever seen. This visually stimulating picture focuses on 27-year-old Sam Flynn whose father Kevin disappeared. Sam is a technology savvy young man who gets pulled into the digital world of Tron – where he finds his father who vanished 25 years before. His father's friend Quorra helps the duo on a near death journey across a carefully crafted cyber world that proves to be super advanced and widely unsafe. Nominated for an the Art Directors Guild Award. This film stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Bruce Boxleitner, James Frain and Beau Garrett.

True Grit (PG-13) 1hr 50min

At the age of 14 Mattie Ross finds herself without a father when her dad is shot in cold blood by a cowardly Tom Chaney. In the wake of the tragedy she sets out to make amends – and get even. Set in the Wild West, Mattie gets assistance for justice from a drunken U.S. Marshal named Rooster Cogburn who is less than gun shy. In their search for Chaney the two must cross into Indian territory before Texas Ranger LeBoeuf catches him  -- and takes him away for another crime – which would leave Mattie without justice. Accolades include 11 Critics' Choice Award nominations, One Writers Guild of America Nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay, Two Nominations for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress from the Screen Actors Guild. This film stars Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, Josh Brolin, Barry Pepper, Hailee Steinfeld, Bruce Green and Mike Watson.

Yogi Bear (PG) 1hr 22min

Set in Jellystone Park this is a story of two bears named Yogi and Boo Boo who are being forced off their land by a greedy politician named Mayor Brown. When the park looses business the two friends are faced with an epic challenge – Yogi must prove that he is "smarter than the average bear." To get back what is theirs, and for the families of the park, Yogi and Boo Boo come together with their former rival, Ranger Smith, to discover a way to keep the park operating. This film stars Dan Aykroyd, Justin Timberlake, Anna Faris, Tom Cavanagh, TJ Miller and Andrew Daly.
