Peeping Tom Arrested for Spying The Galleria Bathroom

A city man is accused of videotaping women using the bathrooms at The Galleria shopping mall.

Next time you drop your drawers in a public restroom—you may want to look through every open crack in your stall to make sure you are in a pervert-free zone.

A city man has been arrested—and charged with two counts of unlawful surveillance in the second degree, and eight counts of attempted unlawful surveillance—for allegedly videotaping women in the bathroom at mall in White Plains.

Milton Sisalima, 24, of 58 Battle Ave., was arraigned Tuesday on the ten counts, according to a press release from the Westchester County District Attorney's Office. The mall's surveillance cameras showed a man entering the women's restroom, without exiting on Feb. 20.

Mall security allegedly found Sisalima—who is accused of videotaping women under stall dividers on his cell phone—in the bathroom. The defendant's cell phone was allegedly found with images of women in The Galleria restroom, according to the press release. He was arrested by White Plains Police shortly after.

Sisalima faces a maximum penalty of four years in state prison if convicted. He is being held at Westchester County Jail and will appear in court on July 13. Assistant District Attorney Michelle Lopez, Deputy Chief of the Sex Crimes Bureau, is prosecuting the case.
