White Plains Man Charged With PCP Possession

The following arrest report was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

A 34-year-old White Plains man faces a misdemeanor drug possession charge after police say he was carrying marijuana laced with P.C.P on South Lexington Avenue.

Police say the 34-year-old was yelling at the EMT workers while a man he was with was receiving medical attention. The second man was being treated for heavy intoxication, and police believe the 34-year-old was also under the influence.

When police arrived they say the 34-year-old suddenly put his hands in his pockets and walked away.

When police removed the man's hands from his pockets they smelled P.C.P, according to arrest reports. While searching the 34-year-old, police say they found a blue Zip-Lock bag of marijuana drenched in a substance they believe was P.C.P.

The man was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and held because of an outstanding warrant from New York City.
