White Plains Man Faces Felony Drug Charge

The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 41-year-old White Plains man faces a felony drug charge after police say he was caught selling prescription drugs near the intersection of Tarrytown Road and School Street.

Police originally charged David English, of 13-15 Harmon Street, with third degree-criminal possession of a controlled substance after they say he was caught with 200 milligrams of Opana just after midnight on Jan. 20.

English was selling the painkillers at the time of his arrest, police say, which resulted in the felony charge.

Police executed a search warrant in English's apartment less than two weeks later, on Feb. 3. At that time they found 16 oxycodone pills, according to arrest reports. Police added two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree as well as resisting arrest on that date, arrest reports say.

English was held for arraignment after his arrest.
