The White Plains Library is hosting Moving to the Beat with Robert the Guitar Guy this morning from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Robert Markowitz will perform songs and direct activities for children ages 3 and up with a caregiver. - The New Westchester Symphony Orchestra invites local musicians to a complimentary rehearsal at 7:30 p.m. tonight, inside the Music Conservatory of Westchester, located at 216 Central Ave. in White Plains. - There will be northbound lane closures on the Bronx River Parkway through. The closures will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Access will be closed from the six lane portion of the Bronx River Parkway Parkway to the four lane portion, at the Sprain Brook Parkway. All Traffic will be diverted onto the Sprain Brook Parkway and then Central Park Avenue (NY 100) all the way to White Plains. Check here for more details.
