BRP Lane Closures, White Plains Planning Board Meets; and Illustrator Jason Graves at the Renaissance Westchester Hotel

The White Plains Library is hosting Moving to the Beat with Robert the Guitar Guy this morning from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Robert Markowitz will perform songs and direct activities for children ages 3 and up with a caregiver. There is limited space and tickets are distributed a half hour before start of program. Contact Rosemary Rasmussen at 914-422-1476 for more information.
- The New Westchester Symphony Orchestra invites local musicians to a complimentary rehearsal at 7:30 p.m. tonight, inside the Music Conservatory of Westchester, located at 216 Central Ave. in White Plains. The first audition for the amateur community orchestra is free. Email info@newsymphony.org to RSVP to a rehearsal and go to www.newsymphony.org for additional information about the orchestra.
- The White Plains Planning Board is scheduled to meet today at 7 p.m., inside city hall. A copy of the agenda can be found here.
- There will be northbound lane closures on the Bronx River Parkway through. The closures will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Access will be closed from the six lane portion of the Bronx River Parkway Parkway to the four lane portion, at the Sprain Brook Parkway. All Traffic will be diverted onto the Sprain Brook Parkway and then Central Park Avenue (NY 100) all the way to White Plains. Check here for more details.
