Discover Volunteer Opportunities in Greenburgh, Bilingual Family Night at the White Plains Library

  • The Grace Episcopal Church in White Plains is hosting violinists Jorg-Michael Schwartz and Karen Marie Marmer, known as the Black Marble Duo, today for its “Noonday Getaway Concert” series. chwarz and Marmer are co-directors of the internationally acclaimed REBEL Ensemble for Baroque Music and have performed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Kendal-on-Hudson Concert Series and Midtown Concerts in New York City. The event, which is free, begins noon. The church is located at 33 Church St.
  • Brenda Wilkin,  community outreach coordinator for the Volunteer Center of the United Way, is hosting a session at the Greenburgh Public Library today at 6:30 p.m. on how to find local volunteer opportunities.   • Pamela Jones-Brice, director of the Westchester County Employee Assistance Program, is hosting "OMG!! I'm Living with You Again" today at 7 p.m. inside the White Plains Library. The program will address the issue of changing family dynamics in a multi-generational household. This is an opportunity to share challenges, develop strategies and obtain resources on co-existing. The library is located at 100 Martine Avenue.
