Open Mic at the Digital Arts Experience; Tappan Zee Bridge Task Force Meets in White Plains Friday; and Voter Registration Deadline Approaches for Primaries
The White Plains Library will host “Parent/Child Connection” today from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. The multi-part program allows parents to play, craft & sing with their child. The program is also an opportunity to meet new people in a warm and imaginative setting. Experts are on hand to informally discuss topics such as nutrition, speech & language, child development, and more. For parents/caregivers and their children ages 13 months to 3 years old. The White Plains Library is located at 100 Martine Ave.
The band Good Clean Fun is scheduled to perform dance music at noon today at the Renaissance Plaza in White Plains. The performance is being done as part of the “Noon Day Concerts” series presented by White Plains Recreation & Parks.
The Digital Arts Experience in White Plains is hosting an open mic today at 7 p.m. All ages and skill levels welcome. Bring your instruments. Sound system provided.The Digital Arts Experience is located at 170 Hamilton Ave. in White Plains.

The deadline to register to vote in the upcoming September primary elections is Friday. New York State residents can register to vote online at http://dmv.ny.gov if they have a valid state license or identification card and establish a MyDMV account. MyDMV requires users to create a secure online account that is validated through the verification of personal information, such as date of birth, social security number, address and license document number.
