Arts Alive Grants Available for Small/Grassroots Arts Groups in Westchester

Applications for 2013 Arts Alive Artist and Project Grants are now being accepted.  Non-profit arts organizations and individual artists in Westchester may apply by September 14, 2012.  Application and guideline workshops will take place throughout the summer.  For more information about workshops, or to download an application, visit www.artsw.org/artsalive.

Andrea Elam, an ArtsWestchester 2012 grant winner, will present her Arts Alive grant project on Saturday, July 8 at 3:00pm.  “Seen and Imagined: A Multimedia Performance” is free to the public at the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art and features Synapses Dance Ensemble and Peekskill Youth, with live music by Ray Blue and his Pro-Am Ensemble.

Arts Alive Artist Grants are made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program (DEC), a re-grant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the NYS Legislature and administered by ArtsWestchester.
