Cultural Initiative Awards Presented to Six Yonkers Organizations

ArtsWestchester CEO Janet Langsam and Westchester Board of Legislators Chairman Ken Jenkins presented the 2012 Yonkers Cultural Initiative Awards to six Yonkers organizations at the Blue Door Gallery on August 15.  The awards enable these community-based groups to enhance their programming, enriching arts opportunities available to Yonkers residents. 

Awards recipients included: Actors Conservatory (for Footloose: The Musical performance), Blue Door Artist Association (for display of sculptures in Yonkers City Hall Park), Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra (to diversify the musical and education offerings of the Philharmonic), Hamm & Clove State Company (for new plays and short stories), Untermyer Performing Arts Council, Inc. (for UPAC on the Road) and Youth Theater Interactions, Inc. (for A Trip to Wonderland).

Thanks Kevin. Those sites are useful resources for historical cards (which are great!). I'mRead More actually on a quest to find currently sold post cards of White Plains (if any exist). So if any one runs across them, please let me know.
