Lindsey 5K Run/Walk Set for October

PEACE OUTside Campus, The Lindsey M. Bonistall Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting safe living environments in off-campus college communities nationwide.

The charity is announcing its 8th Annual 5K Lindsey Run/Walk to be held at Purchase College/SUNY in Purchase, NY. The event will take place on Sunday, October 28th at 8:15 a.m.  

Advanced registrations are available online at www.lindseyrun.com. Printed applications can be found in local running stores, health clubs, schools and colleges throughout Westchester communities and by contacting the PEACE OUTside Campus office at 914-428-4411.

Race day registrations will take place at Purchase College/ SUNY beginning at 8:15 AM.  The early registration cost is $35 for adult, $25 for Student (12-21 yrs.) and $15 for children under 11 through October 7th. 

The registration cost after October 7th is $40 for adults $30 for Student (12-21 yrs.) and $20 for children under 11. The course is USATF certified, fast and mostly flat with one moderate hill in the first mile.  

There will be an aid station serving water at the midway point. Awards and prizes will be given to the first three overall male and female finishers. There is also a youth award for male and female runners ages 12 and under. 

All participants who register before Oct. 8th are guaranteed to receive a race tee shirt.
