At this year’s annual HBRA-CT Awards ceremony attended by over 600 building industry professionals, Murphy Brothers Contracting was presented with four (4) prestigious 2012 HOBI Awards (Home Builders Industry Award) including the “Best Energy-Efficient Green Remodel” and “Best Promotional Event for a Home (LEED for Homes Project Tours)” award for a White Plains eco-transformation of a fifties ranch-style home. This particular recognition is a fitting tribute to the entire team including all the subcontractors and supplier partners, as well as the design team headed up by architect Christina Griffin of Hastings, NY. Ms. Griffin’s firm was recently honored by the Westchester Hudson Valley AIA Chapter for this home’s design as well.
The other two awards presented to Murphy Brothers Contracting were “Best Custom Home” for a Greenwich-built home and “Best Commercial Rehab” for the renovation of Westchester Magazine’s new headquarters in Rye, NY.
