SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER WINS TOP HONORS

Woodlands High School teacher Kevin Butler was recently awarded The Outstanding High School Social Studies Classroom Teacher Award 2011- 2012 by the Westchester Lower Hudson Council for the Social Studies. 

Butler was presented the prestigious award on May 23.

What’s more recently Butler along with his students organized a food drive that collected 400 pounds of food for the Food Bank of Westchester.  The drive was conducted in conjunction with the PTSA and the Greenburgh Taste Off.
