White Plains Wins Hospital Cup Award for Westchester Heart Walk

White Plains, NY- (February 13, 2013) – White Plains Hospital was recently named the winner of the Heart Walk Hospital Cup trophy presented by The American Heart Association.  One of seven hospitals in the county to participate in the Heart Association’s signature event last year, White Plains Hospital recruited hundreds of employees and friends to volunteer, walk and fundraise on the hospital team.  The walk is a part of the My Heart, My Life mission of the Heart Association, striving to improve cardiovascular health by 20% by the year 2020.

The 2013 walk is scheduled for October 6 at the Kensico Dam in Valhalla.  For more information, contact the American Heart Association at 914-640-3274.
