Women: Help Mentor a Job Seeker With WJCS

WHW is asking women who are working in various careers to volunteer to “mentor” an unemployed woman who may be stuck or frustrated by her job search, have a resume that is not attracting interest or wondering where to find contacts or network.

Just a one-time, half-hour meeting, in person or by phone, could be so helpful to someone seeking employment.

Funded by The Leir Charitable Foundations, WHW reaches out to women of diverse backgrounds who are unemployed to provide encouragement, information, resources and services through workshops and mutual support. Anyone who would like to lend a “fresh ear” and give suggestions, can contact Lenore Rosenbaum, WHW Director, at 761-0600 x308 or lrosenbaum@wjcs.com
