In addition, program directors will outline notable curriculum changes to the Finance and International Management programs effective fall 2014.

The MS in Finance launched in spring 2013 and continues to evolve with the recent addition of a third area of concentration in accounting. Beginning fall 2014, students will be able to specialize in corporate finance, investment management, or the newly designed accounting concentration. The finance program is ideal for individuals who want to acquire or update their core competencies and general financial education, while equipping themselves with the specialized tools to thrive in their career path.

The MS in International Management program has also been restructured to provide more flexibility and more range to students. While core courses will continue to focus on global issues, students can choose to concentrate in one of four GPS program areas, including business leadership, finance, human resource management, and marketing communication management. This program is the only degree of its kind in the Westchester area and is designed to prepare business leaders for meeting the evolving challenges of international management.

“Manhattanville’s offerings are at the forefront of post-graduate trends, choosing accelerated MS degrees over traditional, long-term graduate degrees; while MBAs offer graduates a broad set of skills, an MS allows students to focus deeply on a specific subject,” said Dr. Anthony Davidson, dean of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies. “Our curriculum was already excellent, but with these exciting program updates, they’re going to even better.”

The May open house will also review with prospective students what to expect when applying and enrolled, and why now is the perfect time to earn a graduate degree. A live, interactive Q&A session will follow the formal presentation. To RSVP, visitwww.mville.edu/gps. For more information, email GPSadmissions@mville.edu or call 914-323-5150.
