Kids & Gun Safety, an important community forum, will focus on keeping our kids safe from unsecured guns. It will be held at the North Castle Library, Armonk, May 14, 7-9 pm.
Speakers include:US Rep. Nita Lowey, who will deliver opening remarks; Dr. Arthur Caplan, renowned bioethicist and global leader in medical ethics, founding head of Bioethics at NYU Langone Medical Center, recipient 2014 National Science Board’s Public Service Award; David Buchwald, NYS Assemblyman, co-sponsor of Nicholas’s Bill, co-sponsor of NY SAFE Act and Justin Wagner, VP/New Yorkers Against Gun Violence and candidate for NYS Senate.
Event co-sponsors are Million Mom March Northern Westchester, New Yorkers Against Gun Violence (NYAGV), the Brady Campaign and Moms Demand Action.
