The Devil Wears Prada Author Lauren Weisberger to Speak at Manhattan College Women's Lecture Series
Tuesday, Sept. 10: The New York Times bestselling author Lauren Weisberger will visit campus and discuss her famed book The Devil Wears Prada and growing career. Starting with her first job as the assistant to Editor-in-Chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour and the inspiration for The Devil Wears Prada, Weisberger’s writing career has thrived with Everyone Worth Knowing, Last Night at Chateau Marmont, and Chasing Harry Winston also making The New York Times bestselling list.
The Women’s Lecture Series is part of Manhattan College’s yearlong celebration of 40 years of coeducation at Manhattan, which is sponsored by the Dean of Students Civility Project. The College will announce additional lectures for the spring semester in the coming months. The local community is invited to attend the Women’s Lecture Series.
