Exclusive Opportunity to Learn Tricks of the Trade from the Crème de la Crème Sweets Pastry Team
Is your child a budding culinary superstar? Do they dream of one day working in a five-star restaurant? If so, head straight for the Crème de la Crème Junior Chefs Academy at The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester, where junior chefs ages 11-18 can participate in a series of exclusive seasonal baking workshops with talented Ritz-Carlton, Westchester pastry chefs in the pastry kitchen of the hotel. The first of four classes will be held on Sunday, November 3 at 2 PM.
“The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester is thrilled to give aspiring pastry chefs the chance to take part in a brand new unique program involving the Crème de la Crème pastry team,” said Jeff Dziak, General Manager, The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester.
Junior Chefs will learn everything from kitchen safety and baking techniques to fun recipes that they can take home with them and recreate with family and friends. Each student will receive a personalized chef’s coat, chef’s hat and a set of baking tools to use during the class.
Each class is $100 per student with the option to reserve the bundle of four classes at a discounted cost of $320 per student. If two or more classes are purchased, the second or third class will be at a discounted rate of $90 per student.
Class dates are:
Fall: November 3, 2013; 2 p.m. -3:30 p.m.
Winter: Sunday, February 16, 2014; 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Spring: Sunday, May 18, 2014;2:00 p.m -3:30 p.m.
Summer: Sunday, August 3, 2014; 2 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
