2) FREE Movie Night: Kelebek/Butterfly, Thursday, September 27, Turkish Cultural Center, 133 E. Main St, Elmsford, NY, Free Admission, Popcorn, Beverage. RSVP required: rsvp@tccwestchester.org Kelebek is the first Turkish movie to address the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. It's 1996... almost five years before the 9/11 catastrophe.. But the foundations of the catastrophe are being laid...Because it is a complex world and nothing starts a day early...It's Afghanistan... the hottest days of the civil war... Thousands of people who have lost their lives, properties, and homes are expecting the conflict to end...

3) “September Sound Explosion” featuring Roger Ball from “Average White Band,” Friday, September 28, Rye Arts Center, 51 Milton Rd. Admission: $15. Adults, $10 Students/Seniors. The John Fumasoli/Bill Harris Sextet presents a show consisting of hot jazz standards, original compositions, high energy funk and R&B. Roger Ball, co-founder, former band member and writer of “AWB’s” famous hit “Pick Up the Pieces” will be performing with the group.  Reservations Required. First 25 members to purchase tickets will receive a personally autographed copy of the melody to “Pick Up The Pieces” and CD by Roger Ball!

4) Truck Day in Larchmont! Saturday, September 29, Larchmont Public Library, 121 Larchmont Ave. 10 a.m. Children of all ages are invited to climb on and clamor over the biggest and coolest trucks provided by the Town of Mamaroneck and Village of Larchmont.  Come to the parking lot behind the library to participate in the fun. Rain will cancel the program, but it will be held drizzle or shine.  Registration not required.

5) Native American Folk Arts Day, Sunday, September 30, . Learn about local Native American heritage through objects, stories, and performing arts, brought to life by artists from the Redhawk Arts Council. Free and open to all ages.
