Lane Closures Scheduled Today for Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh

From the State Department of Transportation:

Motorists are advised that beginning Tuesday, Oct. 22 the New York State Department of Transportation will be conducting various lane closures on southbound Sprain Brook Parkway between Route 100C and I-287 for paving operations.

Weather permitting, the closures are expected to take place until Friday, Oct. 25, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m..  Motorists are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including work zone signs and flaggers.

Travelers are also reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of the driver’s license.  For real-time travel information, call 511 or visit www.511NY.org
