Motorists Advised to Watch for Freezing Rain, Slippery Roads this Evening

The National Weather Service has issued a freezing rain advisory until 7 p.m. Sunday for southern Westchester County, including White Plains.

Only a trace of ice accumulation is expected, but the ice glaze is expected to make travel ‘treacherous’ according to the Weather Service.

Drivers are being advised to use caution.
