White Plains Walloped with 8 Inches of Snow

Here are some snowfall tallies from the National Weather Service in the wake of the winter storm dubbed 'Hercules' by The Weather Channel.

Though Westchester and Fairfield Counties were spared the worst of the winter storm, dangerous conditions are setting in as temperatures dip into the low teens and even single digits in several of our towns.

The winter storm dubbed “Hercules” by The Weather Channel closed school in many districts, delayed business and organization openings and is snarling traffic.

The National Weather Service says wintry participation will extend into the weekend.
