And you thought Richard Sherman was loud.

At 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, the U.S. Air Force will fly over lower Westchester and the Hudson River in the Bronx in preparation for Super Bowl XLVIII, officials say.

According to an advisory posted by the Village of Port Chester, a pair of F-16s, one Citation 550 aircraft and a helicopter will fly at about 5,000 to 7,000 feet for one hour.

“While aircraft will not be able to be seen from the ground, they may be heard in affected areas,” the bulletin says.

The exercise will conclude at an airport in Farmingdale, Long Island, officials say.

Sunday’s event—a football game, among many other things—will see the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos kick off at 6:30 p.m. at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Subplots and backstory for the game include Seahawks cornerback Sherman, whose on-field antics during the NFC Championship game earned him an $8,000 fine and whose postgame rant during an interview provided finger-wagging fodder for critics, talking heads, sportscasters and everyone else with a Twitter account.

Meteorologists are calling for a few inches of snow before the game, and video game John Madden Football 25 is calling for a close contest and overtime finish (see video clip).
