An exhibition of rare celebrity portraits.

Celebrities: We Remember Them Well will feature around 150 rare, vintage photos of iconic celebrities.  Some of the last photos taken of John Lennon and Yoko Ono as a couple before Lennon’s death are featured prominently.  Other photos taken of artists, actors, politicians and authors—Marilyn Monroe, Louis Armstrong and President Obama among them—will all be showcased.  Unique for their quality and poignancy, the works are artful images of the last half-century’s most illustrious and influential personages. Combing prominent gallery and private collections, Westchester-based curator Milton J. Ellenbogen has assembled this selection of vintage, candid photographs and exquisite studio portraits.  Lectures and expert panels will accompany the exhibition.  All photographs are for sale. There will be an opening reception for this event on Thursday, September 20, from 6 – 8:30. Gallery hours will be from 12pm-5pm, Tuesdays through Saturdays, from September 21 – November 10
