The music group Alive N Kickin rolled into White Plains Wednesday night and performed at the Renaissance Plaza, located at the corner of Mamaroneck Avenue and Main Street.

The performance was part of the “Dancing Under the Stars” concert series sponsored by the city’s Recreation and Park Department.

Alive N Kick formed in Brooklyn in 1968. The band is best known for the hit single “Tighter, Tighter,” which reached #7 in the US Billboard Hot 100 charts in 1970.

The group’s next performances in Westchester are scheduled to take place 7:30 p.m. Aug. 15 on the Village Green in West Harrison and 7 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Tiki Bar in Rye Playland.

Up next for the “Dancing Under the Stars” is a performance by the Greyhounds. That performance is scheduled to take place Aug. 7 at the Renaissance Plaza.
