White Plains Library Offers Teens Latin Dance Classes for the Summer

Then head on down to the White Plains Library. The library is offering free salsa, bachatta and merengue classes for students ages 12 to 18 on the next two Monday this month.

The classes, which started on July 8, are taught by Duplessey Walker, who has more than two decades of experience as a mambo dancer. Walker has performed at a number of venues, including Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and the Lincoln Center.

Classes run from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration isn't required, but is appreciated. 

Anyone interested in taking their dance lesson to another level can catch Walker at Dance Code Studios, located at the Galleria Mall in White Plains.
