White Plains Pics & Clips

Share photos and videos of your community with your neighbors.

Did you snap a photo of a holiday display in the city? Get a great shot of your child's school concert, play or game?

Or perhaps you took a video clip of something someone said at a meeting or documented the latest storm devastation or traffic pileup or the morning sunrise.

"Your Neighborhood Gallery" has debuted today on White Plains Patch. We often receive a singular photo from readers, but haven't had a mechanism to post it without writing a story or signing users up as bloggers—until now.

The gallery is set up as a contribution template and it gives locals a way to easily upload photos and videos of the community directly to the White Plains Patch website.

We're excited to have a way to showcase your contributions. While we've always encouraged readers to add their own images to our existing stories, now we have a place for you to add the visuals that aren't related to any particular story but could still be shared with the community.

And it's easy.

Be sure to email dina.sciortion@patch.com after you upload your photo so we can feature it for everyone to see.

Your images can be of anything. A scene from the City Center. A swim meet. That tasty meal you ate at a local restaurant. An award presentation. A flower blooming. A tree fallen on a house. Snow piled up to your window. The sunset over the reservoir.

You can also write a caption about your photo—as little or as much as you want. Or you can let the photo speak for itself.
