Farmers Market in Hartsdale and Surrounding Towns

Most town around Westchester begin their season of Farmers Markets.

Its that time of the year for Farmers Markets to open every Saturday until November!  Most towns in Lower Westchester do have farmers markets that highlight local farms and artisans. Here are a sample of a few.

In my town, Hartsdale, the Hartsdale Farmers Market shown above, starts June 2nd from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm every Saturday until November 24th. The tents are raised right in front of the Hartsdale Train Station where there is a Starbucks conveniently serving frappucino’s in the station and several breakfast and lunch places around town. There is also local talent that performs while you sample local produce or a home made pie.

Dobbs Ferry Farmers Market - After the market closed, Westchester Greenhouse (who we all visit at corner of Secor Road and West Hartsdale Avenue) took over and Dobbs Ferry will be opening on June 1st from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm until November.

White Plains Farmers Market has already started on May 2nd and also will run until November. Its hours are 8-4 pm and is located on Court Street between Main and Martine Avenue.

Scarsdale Village Farmers Market runs from May to November. Its hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 pm at the Scarsdale Village Merchant Parking Lot near Train.

Bronxville Farmers Market  begins May 26 - November 17th from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 pm and is located at 30 Paxton Avewnue and Stone Place.

There are way too many to list here, but if you visit Wake Up Naturally blog,
you can see a complete list of last years Farmers Markets and call your local town!
