There's lots of changes at Morton's The Steakhouse in White Plains. New menu items include mixed grills, the short rib and the matchstick truffle French fries, and fresh tuna tacos and hand cut potato chips on the Bar Bites menu! They also have a great summer three course menu for only $45 through August 31. The menu has something for both steak and seafood lovers.

The first course includes a choice of Caesar salad with classic dressing or a Morton’s Salad dressed with Morton’s blue cheese dressing, chopped egg, and anchovies or the popular chopped spinach salad with warm bacon dressing.

For the main course, guests may select a 6 oz. Filet Mignon, Jumbo Shrimp Alexander with Beurre Blanc sauce or Chicken Bianco with lemon butter, tomatoes, capers and artichokes. Guests can choose from a wide variety of delicious Morton’s side dishes such as grilled jumbo asparagus, creamed spinach or corn, sautéed Brussels sprouts, sautéed spinach and button mushrooms, or Morton’s new bacon and onion macaroni and cheese. Potato lovers can choose from Lyonnaise potatoes, sour cream mashed potatoes, Chicago style horseradish mashed potatoes, twice baked au gratin potatoes or even the new parmesan and truffle matchstick fries.

To finish the evening, diners will likely have a hard time making up their mind between the individual Soufflé, the chocolate mousse or the raspberry sorbet.

For more than 30 years, Morton's has served the finest USDA prime aged beef, fresh seafood and hand-picked produce. Today there are over 68 locations and the vision remains the same as it did when the first restaurant was opened in Chicago in 1978, to provide Quality, Consistency, and Genuine Hospitality. Morton’s The Steakhouse is located at 9 Maple Avenue in White Plains. For reservations call 914-683-6101 or visit www.mortons.com.
