Westchester Goes Country With New Radio Option

Danbury country station expands into northern Westchester and Rockland.

Got a tear in your beer? Teardrops on your guitar?

You've got some company.

Country music lovers in Westchester and Rockland will have a new option tomorrow when Cumulus Country “Kicks 105.5” WDBY Patterson/Danbury begins simulcasting on 106.3 WFAF, an FM sister station in Mount Kisco.

WFAF has been simulcasting sister 103.9 WFAS-FM Bronxville, which is in the process of moving its tower to expand its coverage, according to a story on the industry website "Radio Insight." The FAS format is adult contemporary.

Kicks 105.5 announced the change recently on its Facebook page.
