Montefiore Medical Center’s CEO Honored by Medicare Rights Center

Dr. Steven Safyer, President & CEO, Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, was honored by Medicare Rights Center Oct. 9th  at a dinner in New York City. Hundreds attended the organization’s annual fundraiser held at the Mandarin Oriental, NY.  Joe Baker, President of Medicare Rights Center, and recently named one of the 50 most influentials on Medicare by AARP, noted that Dr. Safyer has been a strong advocate for the underserved populations, has built extensive primary care networks and is a frequent lecturer on healthcare reform and public health.
