The Greenburgh Nature Center hosted its Harvest Party on Sunday afternoon and visitors of the environmental education center in Scarsdale got a hands-on look at what comes from the center's gardens and hives.
With the help of naturalists, children got to try their hand at making fresh apple cider using a vintage apple cider press and everyone got a taste of the finished product.
Honey extracted from the center's beehives by a beekeeper was another tasty treat for all to enjoy along with some pesto pasta made from vegetables and herbs grown in the organic gardens on site.
