Occupy May Day, Westchester, kicked off at the Library Plaza (between the and the on Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd).
The event is part of a national day of action, Occupy May Day, which includes thousands of grassroots actions across the country.
Events include teach-ins at which people can learn about some of the most pressing issues affecting our country, including campaign finance reform, alternatives to big banks, immigration reform, anti-war efforts, taxes and more; street theater, music, children’s activities, refreshments and literature.
