Police: Walmart Employee Swiped $2K in Electronics
Employee pilfered iPods, cell phones while working shift, according to authorities.
Video surveillance footage from the White Plains Walmart revealed an employee swiping several electronics worth thousands of dollars, police said.
A second employee at the 275 Main Street business contacted White Plains police earlier this week with footage of a worker placing cell phones in her pockets and leaving the store, authorities said.
The alleged thefts took place in the early morning hours of Thursday, Jan. 24.

Police said the security feeds revealed Victoria Yeboaa, 22, filching an iPad worth $729, an iPod worth $395, two Samsung Galaxy phones and one HTC Wildfire phone.
The combined cost of the items swiped is $2,774, police said. Authorities added that Yeboaa stole the items during her shift.

Yeboaa has been charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a felony.
