Turkey Token Scavenger Hunt

Greenburgh Nature Center hosts holiday event for young gobblers.

More than one hundred youngsters and their parents took to the trails of the Greenburgh Nature Center in Scarsdale Sunday for the Turkey Token Scavenger Hunt Sunday afternoon.

Small Thanksgiving-themed "tokens" made from cut tree limbs were placed along the trails that wind through the woods of the center.  Chldren were tasked with finding them and were treated to prizes, food and crafts, along with the opportunity to meet the center's real live turkeys.
