What Do 50 MPH Winds Look Like? [VIDEO]

Weather brings 50 mile-per-hour gusts, wind advisory to region.

If you find yourself preternaturally shifting lanes on I-287, it's not a busted steering column.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Thursday in White Plains and the surrounding Lower Hudson Valley region, with sustained gusts hovering around 25 miles-per-hour.

Some gusts may reach 50 miles-per-hour, weather officials said.

The full-mast American and POW-MIA flags flying outside the Westchester County offices on Martine Avenue Thursday were flapping spectacularly.
