White Plains Searches for Singers, Dancers

Annual Talent Hunt Competition is slated for March 4.

In White Plains, city officials have unleashed a casting call for local dancers, singers and musicians.

The annual Talent Hunt Competition is slated for 6:30 p.m. March 4 at the Music Conservatory of Westchester (216 Central Avenue, White Plains).

The event—seeking performers in high school, and pieced together by the White Plains Youth Bureau and a handful of other local groups—will award first-, second- and third-place winners.

"The program is open for performances in instrumental music, vocal, dance, art, dramatic interpretation and poetry," said Karen M. Pasquale of the mayor's office.

Applications are available at the Youth Bureau, Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
