White Plains Searches for Singers, Dancers

Annual Talent Hunt Competition is slated for March 4.

In White Plains, city officials have unleashed a casting call for local dancers, singers and musicians.

The annual Talent Hunt Competition is slated for 6:30 p.m. March 4 at the Music Conservatory of Westchester (216 Central Avenue, White Plains).

The event—seeking performers in high school, and pieced together by the White Plains Youth Bureau and a handful of other local groups—will award first-, second- and third-place winners.

"The program is open for performances in instrumental music, vocal, dance, art, dramatic interpretation and poetry," said Karen M. Pasquale of the mayor's office.
