75th Anniversary of Kristallnacht Commemoration

The Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center and the Discoll Professorship in Jewish-Catholic Studies of Iona College will host a distinguished lecture, The Christian Response to Kristallnacht November Pogrom by Katharina von Kellenbach, Professor of Religious Studies at St. Mary's College.  A native of West Germany, her recent book, The Mark of Cain:Guilt and Denial in the Lives of Nazis Perpetrators examines the doucments of prison chaplains who counseled Nazi perpetrators in post-war Germany and traces the moral and spiritual effects of guilt.
