Opening of new exhibition, St. Paul’s & the Civil War,
and a recognition of President’s Day & Black History Month
Please join us for the opening of our new exhibition, “St. Paul’s & the Civil War,” helping to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the great national conflict. This includes a talk about the role of religion in the Civil War by Professor John Rodgers of Lehman College. There will also be talks and re-enactments commemorating President’s Day and February as Black History Month, including appearances by Presidents Washington, Lincoln and Franklin D. Roosevelt, and underground railroad icon Harriet Tubman -- historic activities for children.
