In April 2012, her first commission for ballerina Susan Jaffe premiered at Goucher College in Maryland. The music features Kenny Wollesen on percussion and was choreographed to by Susan. In November 2011, Chou led a quintet in several performances of her original music in Taipei, Taiwan. In April 2009, Chou led her group in a performance at Carnegie Hall. She has performed throughout New York City at venues including B.B. King's, Miller Theater, Shea Stadium, Drom, The Knitting Factory, and in the atrium at Jazz at Lincoln Center, as well as in Beijing, Italy, New Orleans, and Chicago.
