Westchester Glee Chorus Winter Concert

WHITE PLAINS, NY – January 24, 2013 – The newly-formed youth choir, Westchester Glee Chorus, performs their second concert on Friday, February 1st, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church of White Plains. The seven-member chorus will sing numbers by Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkston, Adele, Carrie Underwood, Christina Aguilera and many other popular artists and Broadway composers.


A recent recipient of an Arts Alive Project Grant through ArtsWestchester, the Westchester Glee Chorus has students from White Plains High School, North Salem High School, Highlands Middle School and Our Lady of Sorrows School. The chorus has prepared a mix of 20 solos, small group and 4-part choral settings of popular music, with a few classics thrown in. The singers will be accompanied by a four-piece band of musicians from Manhattan.


Directed by Norine Castine, the Westchester Glee Chorus invites all to their Winter Concert at Trinity Lutheran Church, 430 North Street, White Plains, NY, on the corner of Bryant Avenue and North Street. Suggested donation is $10/$5 students.

Arts Alive Project Grants are made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program (DEC), a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the NYS Legislature and administered by ArtsWestchester.
