The Westchester Hispanic Coalition is FREE Citizenship Application Assistance to help you file your application free
of charge if you are eligible and live in NY State! Call to make an appointment during the week, or attend our next ALL DAY workshop:

In order to qualify, you have to meet these
requirements
:



·       
Be at least 18 years old.



·       
Demonstrate good moral character (for example, no
criminal records for the last 5 years)



·       
Be a Permanent Resident for 5 years or 3 years if
married to a United States Citizen for at least 3 years



·       
Pass the United States Civics and History exam



·       
Speak and understand basic English



·       
Bring a $680.00 Money Order payable to the U.S. Department
of Homeland Security (You MAY
qualify for a fee waiver if you bring proof that you have low income, someone
in your household receives public benefits (bring DSS budget letter, SSI letter
or other proof that you receive a benefit) and/or you are experiencing
financial hardship).



·       
$20 for mail and handling
