Free Workshop: Concussions: Know the Signs

Please join the WPHS PTA on Thursday, March 6th at 7:30
pm in the White Plains High School Media Center for a special PTA presentation
on concussions. Dr. Andrew Goldfine and Dr. Mark Herceg, both of Burke
Rehabilitation Hospital, will discuss the medical, cognitive, and psychological
components of concussions. Post concussion management will be highlighted and
will address the role of parents, teachers, students, coaches, trainers,
neuropsychologists, and physicians.  Concussions are a common sports injury, and are particularly common
among children and adolescents involved in organized sports and recreational
