Hudson Valley Afterschool Network (HVAN) Regional Meeting

The
Hudson Valley Afterschool Network (HVAN) will host its first regional meeting  for afterschool providers in the Hudson Valley on July 24th at
10:30am at Westchester Jewish Community Services, 845 North Broadway, White Plains, NY 10603. This is an important opportunity for afterschool providers to
come together and see how collaboration can help ensure that all Hudson Valley
children have the opportunity to benefit from high quality afterschool
programs.

This
informational meeting will provide the opportunity for afterschool

professionals to network with other afterschool providers, learn more about

HVAN membership and benefits, and hear how the New York State Afterschool Network (NYSAN) is working to advance the afterschool and expanded learning
field in New York State. In addition, the meeting will showcase two guest
speakers; Dr. Pauline Mosley, Associate Professor at Pace University who will
present, “How to Intergrate STEM & Robotics into Afterschool Programs” and
Lisa Fairbairn, the Nutrition Program Supervisor from Cornell Cooperative
Extension who will present, “How to Integrate Health & Nutrition Programs
into Afterschool Programs”.
