The 3 R's Are Not Enough: Helping Children Thrive in Today's World Seminar

WJCS' Project SEED and Guidng Parents through Services (GPS) programs in collaboration with the Jewish Education Project present a new version of the 3 R's: Respond, Refocus & Reconnect. Speaker Mark Horowitz, vice president, early childhood education and family engagement at JCC Association, will discuss:

  • How can we as adults RESPOND with intention?
  • How can we support and REFOCUS our understanding to help children thrive now and in the future?
  • How do we listen and RECONNECT to make learning significant?

Project SEED, a collaboration between Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) and The Jewish Education Project, is designed to help early childhood educators support young children's emotional development. Project SEED sites include Beth El Synagogue Center, Bet Torah, Community Synagogue of Rye, Greenburgh Hebrew Center, Jewish Community Center of Harrison, JCC on the Hudson, Temple Beth Shalom, Temple Israel Center of White Plains, Temple Shaaray Tefila and Westchester Jewish Center.
