Unity in the Community Walk

This is an event that was created to bring attention to the use of derogatory words by our kids.  We as adults need to teach our children that using this words are not something to be accepted but to be corrected.  We need to teach them the history of the derogatory words and tell them that using them tears people down and does not build you up.  These words are disrespectful and hurtful.  We also have to teach them that if children use these words they can not get angry if some one not of the same color, nationality, or religious beliefs uses the words or beat them up because other kids do what they see and hear other kids do.
