World COPD Day


In recognition of World COPD Day, Burke Rehabilitation Hospital will be hosting a series of educational presentations about COPD. The speakers will cover various topics including an overview about living with COPD, nutrition and COPD, traveling with oxygen, exercise and lung disease, breathing & relaxing techniques and Tai Chi.


National and local organizations also will be available to provide further info on COPD and other preventive measures to help manage and improve the debilitating effects of this condition.


The event will be held at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital's Patient Dining Room, 785 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains. (Please enter through Main Lobby in the Wood Building.)
